About Us

Hey! It’s Gretta here and I’m the founder of Drop Bottle.

I’m also a firm believer that the world doesn’t need more products — what it does need is better solutions to existing problems.

So at Drop Bottle our goal is two-fold; to leave the world a better place than we found it; and people better off than before they found us.

So we set out to create a considered solution to what we saw as some major issues around our hydration and the planet.

At the same time, at every step, we balanced quality, sustainability, function and design.

So let’s break it down:

Problem: 3/4 of us are chronically dehydrated.

Solution: Our reusable water bottle is designed to be taken with you, wherever your day takes meaning hydration will always be on hand, where you need it. Just three Drop Bottles a day is enough to meet our daily water requirements.

Problem: By 2020, there is going to more plastic in the sea than fish.

Solution: Our reusable bottles have already offset over 3.5 million single use plastic bottles from circulation and we’re only just getting started.

Problem: Plastic bottles aren’t just bad for our environment, they’re also bad for our health.

Solution: Our glass bottle is made from all BPA free materials because let’s be honest — there’s no use drinking ‘detox water’ if you’re taking in toxins at the same time. Plus, water tastes better from glass than plastic, it’s a fact.

Problem: Over 10% of the world’s population doesn’t have access to clean water.

Solution: While we can’t solve this one single-handedly, we donate $1 from every bottle sold to help provide clean drinking water to those most in need, with our charity partner Drop4Drop.

Problem: 95% of our office thinks drinking water is boring. You might too.

Solution: Our stainless steel infusers and thermal regulated borosilicate glass mean can infuse fruit, herbs and even loose tea into your water to naturally flavour it.

… I could continue, but I can promise you, we’ve thought about everything, again and again. You can ask us anything else here too.

Otherwise, go and get your hands on one before they’re gone because we can’t always keep up (especially when Oprah gives us a hand).
